Artist's Comments

I wanted to draw an African Painted dog so I did the sketch on Oekaki. When I clicked out of the window and came back, nothing was making a mark. Luckily, I took a screenshot of the lineart. When I hit undo, the whole thing disappeared except for a few strokes of brown. I couldn't get the picture to come back! I printed out the lineart to color by hand.

This is my new APDog character, Sketch. I love that name. ^^

During Biology class today I was flipping through the book and in a section of one chapter there's a picture of a small group of APDs hunting, and there is a close up headshot of one as well, I adore this picture.

He's adorable! I especially love Sketch's eye... for some reason it really amuses me.
